The only framing is on the perimeter of the bottom of the chair. There are only springs and fabric in between that.

The wood frame of the chairs is a dark oak finish. the existing chair fabric is brownish tone. My dinning room walls are a light sage green color. I just don’t like the darkness in the brown tones of the existing fabric. I would like something lighter. I have wooden floors underneath, with a light oak finish. What can you recommend? How about design? Bold designs? Subtle designs? Solid color?
