Any dorm etc will show you a price sheet once you move in and that is the last time you will ever see if before you move out. this is so they can make a lot of money on any broken or damaged items like the chair. I am guessing the chair will cost at least 60$ and that is if they are generous. Replace the chair at all costs! Good luck on your search for a new chair!
